I will never get over the gloriousness that is Silver’s arm. The stunning, mesmerizing animation and design and versatility and disabled adaptation equipment being fucking amazing, disabled character being fucking amazing, disabled character being my favorite Disney movie character of all time. Thank you for John Silver.
WHY DID THIS MOVIE NOT MAKE MONEY!?
I continue to question that to this day, also other equally excellent films like Atlantis
My guess is there was no merch connection, movies Disney acknowledges as “successful” generally have a lot of toys associated with them
BUT I love this movie to bits and could watch it on repeat forever… FOREVER… forever…
